"My hope is for families to know that they and their children are loved by God and that church would be a warm, happy place for children of all ages.  Our Wee Care and Kids JAM staffs are committed to providing a welcoming and fun environment as they show Jesus' love to the children in their care .  Mark 10:14 is our guiding verse:  "Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Mission Statement

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14

At Precious Kids Preschool we believe that all children are precious in God’s sight. We seek to provide a welcoming atmosphere for children, to creatively engage them in learning, and to encourage positive relationships with peers and adults. We are committed to preparing the preschool child and family for the kindergarten experience through academics, socialization, and family involvement. PKP is a small, growing preschool with a nurturing purpose.

Administration

Precious Kids Preschool is a ministry of the Edgewood Free Methodist Church under the supervision of the Director of Children’s Ministries.  Our preschool director is Mrs. Daria Roesch. The school is a non-profit, half-day program committed to meeting the needs of today’s families by providing positive early learning experiences. The Staff consists of well-qualified people with college training and experience in teaching young children.

Facilities

In addition to our preschool classrooms, our church fellowship hall is used for indoor gym time and our outdoor playground is used regularly as weather permits.

Parent Involvement

Precious Kids Preschool is committed to partnering with parents in providing the best possible early learning experiences for each student. We encourage parents to maintain close contact with our staff and director. We welcome parental involvement through:

* Monthly newsletters
