Edgewood's program of support to the City of Rochester, NY is called Healthy Harvest. We are working hard to meet spiritual, physical, and academic needs in our city.  We have adopted Public School 19 and work with them to create a safe, healthy, and focused environment. We encourage teachers and students alike, with special programs and events.  A group from Edgewood also facilitate a Bible club and tutor students weekly during the school year.

Edgewood also supports:  Pastor Heritage Munyakuri, and his ministry to African great lakes region refugees, Open Door Mission, Flower City Work Camp, Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, Embracing Options, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Youth For Christ, Young Life, Cru, Heart & Soul Community Church,  and gives scholarships to Roberts Wesleyan College and The Charles Finney School.

In 2017 Edgewood is focused on our partnership with the Galloway Family, Free Methodist missionaries to Bulgaria.  Beginning at 6:00 on March 25, our Brighton to Bulgaria event will transport the church virtually to Bulgaria, for three hours.  Participants will dine on authentic Bulgarian food, assemble VBS kits for the Bulgarian Roma children, fund raise for sewing machines to provide a marketable skill for Roma girls at-risk of sex-trafficking, and pray for the Galloways’ ministry.  All are welcome to participate in this free family-friendly event!  Please RSVP here by 3/22/17.

B2B is designed as an efficient method of assisting the Galloways and furthering the Kingdom work in Bulgaria.  Instead of fueling the travel industry, we wish to send the funds that would otherwise be spent to send a team to Bulgaria for a week.  We need everyone’s help to make our $20,000 goal!  A fundraising letter such as this can be used to seek tax-deductible donations toward this virtual trip.

Edgewood also provides regular support to the following international ministries, missions projects, and missionaries:

J.R. & Becky Crouse, Gerry & Kati McNamara, Mike & Andrea Green, Chance & Dee Dee Galloway, Dr. Delia Nüesch-Olver, Al & Stacy Anderson, Hope Africa University, Jessome school and Haiti Providence University International Childcare Ministries, Samaritan's Purse
