Community Groups exist to provide a place to belong, a community that cares, and a space to grow.
During Covid-19 we have opened groups up for Zoom meetings. This darkness will not stop us from
spreading God's love to each other.
Edgewood offers a variety of group experiences. The majority of our group experiences are community groups; however, we also offer seasonal classes, bible studies, and activity groups.
During this time all of our groups have gone online and are meeting virtually.
Looking to join or lead an online group or have questions?
Q1: What Is A Community Group?
A: These are groups for people of all ages and stages of life, and are typically composed of around 8-12 people that meet regularly (currently meeting virtually) for a time of sharing with one another, study (video, book, sermon-discussion based, or Bible), and prayer for one another.
A: No! You do not have to have any faith background to join. Our groups are composed of people who are at various places in their spiritual journey. Some are new in the faith, some have been a Christian for years. Others have just started attending church for the first time. All are welcome!
Q3: Will I Have To Pray Out Loud?
A: No, no one will force you to pray out loud!
During Covid-19 isolation, Edgewood has set up scheduled Zoom meetings for multiple groups. If your group wishes to meet during this time Pastor Brian can get you/your group set up with a link made specifically for your social group. Remember, you are never alone and the Lord can always hear your prayers.
A: No, come as you are!
