Edgewood's main local outreach program to the City of Rochester, NY is called Healthy Harvest Ministries.
We are working hard to meet spiritual, physical, and academic needs in our city.
***We do have Covid outreach. Running supplies, making masks, and more.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to speak with our urban missionary Kim Roth**
The Healthy Harvest team holds a Bible club and mentors students weekly during the school year.
We knew that having a facility to work with students was a big need for this outreach program, so we moved our ministry into a building we call Turning Point in the Plymouth-Jefferson neighborhood and use it to serve the community.
Location: In the 19th Ward at 1175 S Plymouth Avenue.

Flower City Work Camp is a ministry of Flower City Outreach, an organization that unites Rochester-area churches to deliver a range of services into the City of Rochester.
Each year, students and adults from nearly 60 churches deliver over 30,000 hours of service by improving homes, mentoring youth at basketball and soccer camps, and connecting with younger children in neighborhood Sidewalk Clubs to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to some of the neediest areas of our city.
We help send a small group of our youth students to the camp every year and Adults provide the student workers with meals, supplies, and more.
Embracing Options, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Cru, and Heart & Soul Community Church.
Some of our national outreach programs include a partnership with the Free Methodist Denomination to support Oakdale Christian Academy, a Christian boarding school for at-risk youth in Jackson, Kentucky.
The Free Methodist Church has always advocated for the abolition of slavery. We try to support as many Fair-Trade and ethical organizations as we can. We are committed to helping end modern day slavery through Eden's Glory and The Set Free Movement as well as our own Edgewood Abolitionists.
